Northern California is as hot as Havasu ! We went thru some great roads to get here. But it is hot, 98* when we pulled in to Redding. Seat tomorrow then the Redwoods.

Ya, it can get very hot up there. Any smoke from the fires? Which hwy to hwy 1 have you decided to go on?

No smoke yet. We went thru a big burned area between 395 and Tahoe . I think we are going to shoot for Hiway 36 unless the Russell people talk me out of it.
