Bonnie and I just returned from our first visit to the garlic festival and we will return again another year  Partly sunny in the am, bright sun while there about 72 degrees could not ask for better weather

Nice ride upon the Valkyrie (almost 102000) doing 75-80 with the traffic such as it was but once we got off the thruway it was stop and stop and sit and fred flintstone a car lenth over and over  The temp light went on for the 1st time in
my memory as we were just finally in view of parking lot and I left the line and rode the bike right to the lot with my flashers on.  Simply told the officers my temp lite was on and I needed to stop pronto and they let me around    police angel police

There was a Lot of folks there
but everyone was well behaved and polite as you would expect upstate NY

On the way back no problem with traffic stopped on 9 for that texas bbq

We bought several pounds of different garlic for planting and eating, tasted a LOT of great raw garlic, sampled an awesome maple syrup aged in bourbon casks (Hotglue I am gonna put some of your bourbon in a pint of pure maple syrup later just because it was that good), butternut squash seed oils, brittle and fudge an organic trail mix with sunflower/nuts and it was really good garlic of course, and generally had a great time walking the fairgrounds for over 3 hours

free music at several places, a kids play that was funny
and I got to ham it up with a giant walking garlic....

Did see a Polaris Slingshot in the lot and got a pic on my phone

Will post more pics later  as I KNOW THIS thread is useless w.o pics but most are on Bonnies camera and cursed if I know how to transfer pics on that !
