Just got back from a 4300 mile ride out west with brother in law. Did several national parks and attractions riding through Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, and others.
I was on my 1997 Tourer and brother in law was on his brand new Goldwing. Both bikes ran great without a single problem. Our speed was 65 MPH or less on the Interstates and 55 or less on the back roads. My mileage for the trip was 37.9 MPG.
Good trip.
And a lifetime of memories in the great wide-open spaces! There's still room out here, eh? Shhhsh, don't tell anyone...
