Could I get recommendations on leather saddlebags? I have an 02 standard and want a good bag that holds up well. Thank you for your suggestions.. I read this forum everyday and lots of good help on here.

I have new-in-the-box official Honda factory Valkyrie Leather Saddlebags.
These are for the Standard, have "Valkyrie" script embossed on them.
Often imitated, never duplicated.
Make me an offer.

Was just sorting things out in the barn lately, making room for more bikes  uglystupid2
Seems I have enough new-old-stock and otherwise used parts to make prolly 2 additional Valkyries  coolsmiley
Gone be a Valk bobber in the works, fo shore.
Son just bought a $200 Gold Wing, so I been draggin up all the old GW stuff...
Then I started draggin up all the Moto Guzzi stuff...
Leaves are changing here, won't be riding as much in a couple months...
Gone be an interesting winter, lots of projects to work on in December, Jan, Feb...

Some of the best quality leather bags I've seen/owned are Boss Bags. Pricey but good quality if you want leather. They now have many more options than when I got mine 15 years ago. I'd gone with the model 42 series less frilly bag, plain, no conchos. Still holding up well with annual care/conditioning. Decent quick removal system as well. No worries about collapsing tops or sides.
