Grants Pass,Or

It's a small world when you go out to buy an antique drill press and meet a Vrcc member.  I found a drill press on craigslist in Grants Pass,Or. and it was from a Valk rider who had to sell his bike several years ago to help buy equipment to build a BIG log house on his property. This place is so big he has a center support from the floor to roof that is 30' tall and about 3' in diameter to support another beam 2 1/2 ' in dia. and 50' long . The rest of the house is made from logs he cut down and cut on his own saw mill. The front door weighs 400lbs. and is made of 6"x6"  logs he squared up in his mill saw. 7 years and still in construction. Anyway he does follow the VRCC forum from time to time. Don't know if he has a handle or member #. I will try an find out. Interesting he is 6 miles from my home. Also another interesting person lives in the same area is Randy Grubb who makes the Blastolene cars by hand in his garage. Jay Leno has one,it is a 12 cyl. tank engine powered all alum. car. He also made the Blastolene Indy Special race car. Goggle it.

Yeah, I could get into trouble with one of these.
