All the arguments I've heard from politicos blame the gun and immediately call for more laws!  uglystupid2 How MANY laws were broken by any of the recent doers? When they are planning these atrocities LAW do NOT enter into their equations ANYWHERE. Consider them as becoming Kamakazie! I have ZERO idea HOW you break these low life sumbitche out of the pack to stop them BEFORE they start. Some one some where IS planning the next atrocity! Can they be stopped BEFORE their plan comes to fruition? I M H O the chances are between slim and none of stopping it BEFORE anyone is injured or killed. The ONLY slim chance is IF the doer takes some one into their confidence and that some one informs authorities AND the authorities believe the informer. Other than that-I highly doubt the next one can be stopped-even if 10000 more "laws" are added to the books.  Cry RIDE SAFE.

Serk, what he said is nowhere near "I want laws to take away your guns" . I understand you guys have felt that for the past 7 years, but its still not the case. This is partly why I think it's hopeless to get anywhere with this issue.

The "He's Gonna Tak'em Away" thought process stems from the FACT that immediately after EVERY mass shooting like this, Obama and others on the left politicize it by lamenting that SOMETHING needs to be done.  And, since nothing short of the removal of all weapons from society will have any effect, and Obama and others on the left make continually make comparisons to other countries that have banned guns,........... well, ............

He's the great community divider.
You only have 1 more year. Your nightmare is almost over  Cool

Why, do you expect the next administration to do any better?  Can't do worse, but better??  Not me.  Too many bad decisions with compounding further bad decisions, across too many administrations, on too many topics, has gotten us to where we are now.  Weak in foreign affairs and policies, stagnant in growth, on the wrong end on every trade agreement, Average wages down $4,000, allowing citizens and non citizens to exploit our laws for personal gain, allowing politicians to exploit our laws for personal gain, etc, etc, etc..........

This can't be sustained.  It's impossible.  That's why they write laws with so much nonsense and creativity to fool not only the public, but those that vote on them as well (as per Gruber, the ACA architect).  But eventually there will be no more money to snatch with creative laws and taxes.  This train has already left the station.  The last 7 years may have added more coal to the fire, but that'll just make the inevitable happen sooner.
