We're good here in my corner of SC... we got rain and wind and some dead trees fell in
the woods... other parts of SC apparently got hammered, flooding at the coast and
other places too...

I live in one of the three counties in SC that the Blue Ridge Mountains
reach to... Charleston is 200 miles away on the coast... there's flooding
at Columbia, 100 miles away in the center of the state... there's flooding
over in Greenville, one of the adjacent mountain counties... we're soaked
but not flooded in my neighborhood...

Detn8er is working his ass off because of the flood......All the quarries in Columbia are flooded....Rock of any size is being hauled 24 hrs. a day from all the other quarries to help rebuild washed out dams and roadways.
We are BALLS TO THE WALL........Blow'in crap up as fast as it can be drilled....
Little known fact......A lot of the city of Columbia in the center of the state is below sea level. The largest quarrie in Columbia which is less than a mile from the Gamecocks stadium is over 400' below sea level.. aaaaAAAARRRRGHHHHHH!!!!

Myrtle Beach is in pretty good shape.

Nikki had a press conference today warning about evacuations for areas near rivers etc that are cresting now or where cresting is still to come.  Warnings about damns that have not been breached.

Columbia, Charleston, Johnsonville, Georgetown all hit hard.

I am lucky, just a few leaks in the roof.  Many have lost their homes and vehicles.  What a mess.

Clean up while take a long while.

Sitting here on Lake Marion, high and dry. The water is almost up to the boards of my dock but would have to go a lot higher to be a problem for me here. Yesterday I95 was still closed north of the 119 exit but may possibly be open today.....not sure.
