The CNN news article is truly an insight to how the clubs are run.
I have (had) quite a bit of involvement with M/Cs and it is a realistic portrayal.

Although I enjoyed the TV series, "Sons of Anarchy", it is only a show. The show may have had episodes that might have been based on a (stretch) of reality,......but not as portrayed on an ongoing basis.

Members of a brand specific organization (VRCC), riding, social clubs and even associations as the CMA, AMA, and ABATE may have members that have made bad decisions in their past. The mistakes made by individual members do not reflect the entire club, association or organization.
