May have been posted a long time ago. Well worth seeing....turn up your speakers and make it full screen. All involved were lucky that day!

Years ago, I was traveling from point A to point B with my family, both kids were young.   Was in Kansas City, Missouri and all of a sudden, several motorcycles and three ricer cages with fart cans blew past me, cutting in and between traffic just like that video.   To be honest, when the first couple past, they surprised the hell out of me.   Looked in my mirrors and saw the others coming.   I maintained my speed and lane knowing that any sudden moves on my part would most likely end badly for some one.

Before they all got past me, the guys up front of this group of maniacs, (not sure which ones) were involved in a nasty wreck causing all kinds of chaos and mayhem.     There were cars and bikes all over the place, it was a real mess.   We got through it without being involved but, many innocent drivers didn't.

I have absolutely no respect for assholes who want to endanger other's while they play.   Take it to some deserted road and have fun where you're not endangering others.    We can not predict how someone else is going to react to our stupid stunts and it's our fault if, our stunts cause others to be injured or killed.    To be clear, I don't care if they (you or anyone else) wants to play but, do it somewhere that's not going to get anyone else killed.

What a gang of idiots !!!!

I'm half surprised there wasn't a big wreck at the end - either bike or the Audi + disinterested onlookers / victims .

Car driver was the only one involved in the "race".

Bikes were just doing their thing.

160-170 mph is nuts even in an Audi V10.

Just plain stupid except maybe on the autobahn.

I once broke the 105 mph mark on my cycle,  that is plenty fast enough for me for a few seconds is all.

Nowadays,  anything much over 85 mph will not happen on car or cycle.  Just not worth it.  uglystupid2

Assuming the tires are rated for the expected speed and the machine is up to the task but even if they aren't up to the task, I still don't care.   As long as they don't endanger those around them.

Do it some where that doesn't endanger other folks.   If you, I or anyone wants to go out and do 200 MPH, fine, go do it but, don't do it in traffic.    While I'm not into street racing, I know several folks who are.   They always go some where that the roads and traffic are suitable for the proposed race.   I'm not suggesting the Darwin theory isn't in action here, just don't take anyone else with you.

You have the right to kill yourself if you want to but no one else.

It doesn't make a ton of difference but i'm pretty sure the speedo was reading in KPH not MPH.

It was KPH.  While I was keeping track they were ranging from 125 to 17x mph.

It's also not the U.S. of A.  I try hard not to apply my values based upon my own cultural experience to folks in other parts of the world where experience and expectation are not the same as they are where I live.  That's primarily why I don't laugh at pictures of folks in other parts of the world carrying loads we wouldn't consider here.

Would I do it?  No, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't.  Will I make condemning assessments and statements implying my superiority to their behavior?  No, I'm pretty sure I won't.

YMMV but MMIC.
