Rode all the way to Daytona today with Gil & James so Gil could buy ice cream from a Smelly Bodega  ;D

Nice ride to the Ocean and back to Destination Daytona, hope U guy's arrived home safe.

we went to the track today, not much there.   I guess everything is at DD, so will avoid there.
going back to the track in am to demo a trike, only cause they said I can.   :cooldude:  CA Sidecar

It was a great day riding from before sunrise to after sunset.  During the night on our return home leg of the trip, many drivers commented on the brightness of Nicks new lights in Morse code using their headlights high beams.  I replied with "73" but that may have caused confusion.  :uglystupid2: With Nick and James in the lead it was impressive how bright their reflective riding gear was.

Other Valks were spotted along the ride, unfortunately the Harley sound dominated the event.

JP cycle has several sales reps and two really impressed us; Sena with the 20s headsets (beats Scalla hands down) and Garmin.  Garmin has a new camera that will replace the GoPro.  As well an APP called "V 360" was demonstrated.  Something to be researched, but basically it allows you to view your ride and pan around 360° on your iPhone (likely other smart phones as well).

A report only Gil can give  :cooldude:

:cooldude: Mid October surely signals the Florida riding season and Friday was no exception. The early morning briskness, slight cross state breeze, and of course excellent riding company, makes for a fantastic day of relaxed touring. A ride across the state and through Tomoka Marsh Preserve to the Atlantic for the above posted photos was pure Florida riding at it's finest. Up the coast to Flagler then back south to the mass gathering at Destination Daytona for the "show". As Gil mentioned it gave us a chance to chat with the Sena rep at JP Cycles, about their latest comm system, advances and features. A change from our current problem ridden Scala units that we seem to just be riding out their last useful days. Following the sun west toward home, the briskness returned from the mild day, collected a few multi legged creatures on the windscreen, and completed a full day of adventure. Thanks to Gil & Nick for great company and conversation!
