Procrastination can really destroy a good game plan or it can offer an almost insurmountable challenge.  I may have really waited too long this time.

Whether we're able to offer a calendar this year will depend upon multiple factors.  Two are out of your hands; whether one staff member can get the order form up and whether another staff member can help carry the load of handling and mailing calendars.  The third is in your hands; whether I can get about thirty good Valkyrie photos in the next several days.

I'm looking for photos of good looking Valkyries in the foregrounds with attractive backgrounds.  I prefer no people or luggage in the picture.  On occasion I can edit those out depending upon where they are.  They need to be relatively high resolution to still look good when blown up to wall calendar size.  I'll stop receiving when I have about thirty good pix but no longer than ten days under any circumstances.  I prefer pictures that have not been already well seen.  No pictures that are used as avatars or signature photos on the board.

Best case we get calendars on their way at mid November.

Send pictures to Willow.VRCC@gmail.com or vrccstaff@gmail.com.  Pictures should be attached to the email.  If your provider shrinks the photo to include it in the email it will ruin the resolution.

The pictures have been selected and worked.  The calendar is being put together.  I apologize for being a little behind the schedule I had expected.  I am grateful for the many responses we received.   We got enough really good pictures to make the choices difficult.

No, Dan.  No.  Most of my pictures would not be acceptable.

We should be ready to accept orders in a couple of days.  I think we can still have many delivered before Christmas.

Sales should be available within just a few days.  I always feel badly answering that question as the number of good possibilities ratioed to the number of selected pix is way too high.

I haven't yet married the pictures to the months and I do have two extras just in case.  There is a pic from someone in Blacklick, OH in the final group.

You are correct.  It was not an easy selection process and we may have gotten a few wrong as there were several really close.

P.S.  We're probably looking a a couple or three days as we have some decisions to make.
