Not a Cubbys fan, but I has hopeing they would fair much better than they did.  They do have a young talented team and there is always next year.  But if you are a Cubs fan, you are all too familiar with that line...

I was pulling for the Cubs myself. They did fine. They're young and they have the best manager in the game. The Cubs will be back next year. But,then again,so will the Giants.   cooldude

Didn't have a dog in that race.   I did enjoy watching the Blue Jays getting a Royal spanking.   Wink

Being a Royal's fan will do that.  Game 6 was a good one though.   Both teams played well.   cooldude

Check with Ben Revere on how good that game was.  Sometimes life doesn't go the way one would want it to.  Lemons or lemonade and the poor trash can doesn't get a vote.    Wink

I was glad to see the Royals win and wasn't too pleased to see they let it go back to a one run difference.  Revere did play his heart out and the catch against the fence was almost beyond belief.

I believe we have a good World Series coming up.  Then again, who can tell?  Lemons or lemonade?  Our choice is to simply deal with what comes our way and do our best not to choke on it.

I've been waiting 29 years for the Mets to win another, that being said, my backup was the Cubs. They are young, talented, and have the right manager, and upper office management. They will contend in the future, and I think they are not to long from a World Series win. Meanwhile, Lets Go Mets!

I also believe they are not to long for a World Series win nor should the Mets.

It's interesting how dramatically the meaning is altered by the absence of a single vowel.   Wink
