Pizza Party effort

  Well seriously I tried to get to the Pizza gathering and I'm disappointed that I couldn't find the spot.   I got all the way to Zhills and my phone said go down 23rd St. As I approached 23rd St a bike pulls out and it's a Valk Brother 2-up, must have been leaving. blue / white I think. We wave and I take my left on to 23rd. I get close to what looks like a dirt road  ??? and here comes a dual axil truck hall'in ass down the dirt road, dusting the road so bad I'd of been crazy  to attempt to continue. I couldn't believe the dust this guy kicked up. What a moron  I took a quick right up a narrow road and turned around at what looked like an abannded mobile home driveway. That dust would have chocked most or blinded you.  that idiot in the truck was the last straw. I got back on 54 to try and catch the 2-up but to no avail. Sorry I missed you guys, I know it must have been fun. I'm in Gville now and will travel 26 west and head back 98 & home tomorrow. Maybe next time. Best to all!

That was a lot of effort to get to the party.  If I am not mistaken Jerry has his phone no. on the bottom of all his posts.  Sorry it didn't work out.

Wow you were close.  The Blue/white might have been Bob.  Did he have loud pipes?  If so you still had plenty of party and Pizza left to enjoy.  Watch for other meets and join when you can.

I stopped on the dirt road and almost turned around but the neighbor said you looking for the gathering and I turned the corner and just looked at all that chrome and shiny paint. Sorry you missed it hopefully there will be another time. Nice to meet all who came, thanks for the hospitality.

  This was the first time I used Apple maps and the directions were good. A little different putting your trust in a little electronic box that is telling you directions when you usually know exactly where your going.

Sort of the same problem with me. My GPS run me in circles in town past 54 to another street down to wire road I think back around to 54 and final down the right street. Difficult to see GPS in sun I heard the GPS say something about you have arrived. I looked up thought I saw the street sign and stopped. Pushed bike back about 5 ft happened to look down what I thought was a driveway and say the group about 500 ft up the side road. Was a great party.
