This is a motorcycle site if I'm not mistaken.I get enough of that on the news every night. Maybe I am just selfish. And don't tell me not to read the posts.....the titles are telling enough that I know what's coming. Thanks.

As has been pointed out, this is the GENERAL board. To my knowledge, topics have never been restricted to just motorcycles because it is just that; a GENERAL board. The TECH board, different story. You stick to bikes, bike problems, questions, etc., which is as it should be. But the General board is an open forum.

Dude...First of all, I absolutely agree with you.  Second, having tilted at this particular windmill myself, I can tell you pretty confidently that it's not going to happen.  Just learn to live with it or move on.  there's really no other choice here.  It might settle down after the election if Trump wins...right up until he plunges us into an eternal nuclear winter.

When I had my Vstrom I frequented the Vstrom board.  Totally boring and not many posts there, most were old. The Vstrom board was technical only.

The Miata board, which i now use only for info, also has a general board for general topics. It is busy.

The Glock board also has a general board where the members speak their piece,  I like that too.

We are, I think, a bunch of free thinkers here and express our opinion.  It's a good ongoing education for me.

Tech board for questions. general board for speaking up, what's wrong with that ?

I like the general board BECAUSE of the diversity of the topics. Course-SOME-NOT all but SOME of the stuff I see here I already knew.   Plus at certain times you WILL need a thicker skin.   BUT I'm thinkin nobody far as I know has ever been killed in a computer keyboard by.   Sorta like a driveby but  no bullets.   Feathers been ruffled-yup. Folks pissed off-yup. Feelings hurt-yup. BUT ya gotta keep in mind-ITS ALL printed words on your computer screen. Whether or not you invite it into your domain is YOUR choice.   RIDE SAFE.

Yup and it will O's fault because of the Iran deal he had no idea how to negotiate and we have no idea what really happened because like the his records he has sealed them from public view. Kind of like the all Bush's fault except this time it will be true.

Is the Dems talking points that Trump will bring about a nuclear winter?  Did they resurrect this from 1980 because they blasted Reagan with this label back then?  How did that work out for the world?

I really like the General Board and one can read or not read whatever they want and i am sure we all do.  I have been on several Motorcycle Blogs in the past and the technical talk is good however the rest was quite boring.  This has been by far the best Motorcycle Blog I have connected to and just another great reason to own a Valkyrie.

Frankly, we're lucky there's only a couple. 

And I appreciate most of Meathead's posts; I don't often agree with him, but he always plays devil's advocate in a polite and courteous manner with no personal insults or dripping condescension, and that's OK in my book.  As for the others, I only skim their rants, and I never respond (which is what they want, so don't do it).   There is nothing whatsoever to gain in having a conversation with them; responding simply invites another rant (so don't respond). 

If a leftist falls in the woods and no one responds, he may not make any noise at all.  (poor analogy, but you get the idea)
