We just did a family weekend in the mountains. I have noticed over the years a lot of anxiety over the impending disconnection from the Borg collective on these trips. I`ve been a slow comer to this techno world we inhabit. I`ve had a cellphone for 4 years now. My goal was to be the last person on earth without one, but i was forced to give up my dreams.  tickedoff It`s never bothered me before but a couple days before the trip I remembered "No Service". I started to wonder if i would also become one of the Borg and succumb ? Alas I survived 2 days of no VRCC forums. Now my wife, daughter, and DIL were Facebooking within 3.6 sec. of getting service. (and probably to each other).

We have went on a hike each time in the last 5 years. With the goal of reaching the top of Mt. Hualapai. We`ve never come close, but we got the furthest this time. This is a pic of the brave members who attempted the feat (all the women chicken out except one granddaughter). Had a great family weekend, even if i did have a fall on the hillside while taking the dog for pee break. I might have had a few cocktails in me at the time.  Smiley
