sellers DO NOT clean the chrome they are selling.
Pieces for sale with dirt, grease, small rust pits etc.
All which would take about 5 minutes to polish off and make the piece look worth the $$$
Would these sellers go to buy a car and expect it to be grubby and grimy?
I bought a complete exhaust system and the whole set was clean in the photos and on arrival at my house. That's the main reason I bought it. That and price of course.

I even try to wash my cars before taking them in for service. I think that the techs realize that the owner is someone who cares so they, in turn, do a good job.
Have you ever seen the interior of some cars? Full of Big Mac bags, coffee cups, spilled french fires, loose papers, etc.

As to the interior Wayne-didja ever meet my 2nd ex?  There was a time in her Caddy you could NOT put your feet on the floor cause of the scratch off tickets!  When I sold car or truck or boat washed AND waxed.  RIDE SAFE. |

My complaint about the classified adds is the number of people who do not put their city/state in either their add or their avatar. A lot of things are big and heavy and going to be expensive to ship. Some stuff might be within reasonable driving distance, but how would we know? I'm not going to email/PM them to find out where the part(s) are. I just move on.

I agree. Also when there is not a price listed, to me that is telling me the seller knows he is asking too much but trying to "hook" a potential buyer. It could very well be the seller just "forgot" to put the price there. Regardless, I too just move on. |

It might be that they didn't look before posting, but it might also be that they couldn't come to an agreed price. You southern boys sure have some funny sayings though |
