Please remember the many that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

I'm humbled to be included in their company as a Veteran.

May God continue to bless the United States of America.

This is a day to honor our Veterans

Veterans Day is an official United States public holiday, observed annually on November 11, that honors military veterans, that is, persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. It coincides with other holidays, including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, celebrated in other countries that mark the anniversary of the end of World War I; major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. The United States previously observed Armistice Day. The U.S. holiday was renamed Veterans Day in 1954. Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day; Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, while Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who gave their lives and those who perished while in service.

Please be sure to attend a salute to Veterans in your area check with local schools or veterans organizations.

Hey I used to be a Speedy 5, Crypto Spec, until I decided to go to Flight School and get my Warrant.  This was after 10 years in, and I was 30 years old, the old man in the class trying to compete with those young whippersnappers, LOL. Ended up doing 23 years and retired as a W3.

Thank you to all veterans.  I am wearing one of my flag ties today with my suit.  My company is giving deals to all veterans that come in today... and I'm giving a copy of the "Declaration of Independence" and the "US Constitution, Bill of Rights" to each customer.  I couldn't be more proud of what veterans have sacrificed for our freedom.  Thank you.

Odd, sometimes you can make a decision and you get way more out of it than what was promised.

Those of us that served though know the ones we truly honor and respect are the combat vets.

It was the 60's, things were different, honoring our fallen heroes by playing Taps on Funeral Details was as close as I got. 61-69, 14th Army (WAC) Band Fort McClellan AL. I do not endorse the current lowering of physical requirements in order to accommodate women in combat units. This PC crap is going to get a lot of good people killed. Please help stop using the armed forces as a giant social experiment. Islamic Extremists welcome anything that will make our forces weaker.  tickedoff

You know what bugs me about Veterans Day. It should be totally about Veterans and our military people, when Retail Outlets of any kind, have sales or discounts, it should be for the Vets and the Military People and their family's.  And not for the common public that did not serve, like myself. And not have all these retailers exploit this day, and the people, to make profits, based on others sacrifices.
Just my feelings about it!
