Sure is kinda ugly isn't it. Price doesn't seem too bad for something like this. I'd like to see more of its capabilities.

Having been a pilot for quite a few years,, this thing looks like fun to fly. The view out of that thing is incredible. 350 hp is awesome. 5 passenger. Great for the price.

I'd want more than one piston though.

LOL. What ? You wouldn't want a 'single-piston' 350 HP engine ? I'd like to take a look at that piston.

I'd have to look into this monster a lot more before I'd strap my ass in it. I'm not a fan of these new plastic airplanes, I hate Cirrus. But, maybe someday someone will make a decent one. Maybe this is it, who knows. Its still ugly to me though.

I agree, a misfire on a single cylinder engine is pretty noticeable, especially at 5000 ft.

I just looked into this a bit. It appears the earlier model [ prototype maybe] did not have a canard. I'm wondering if this thing may have some stability issues since the new model sports one. I can't find any info on that.

It should say single, piston engine as in single engine. Not a one piston engine. LMAO

Good solid engine like most Continentals, well, except the IO-360. Never learned to like that engine since working on Mixmasters. Every time I opened the cowl on the rear engine, parts fell out. -RP

The 337s [02] always seemed to make it back no matter the damage, but, that engine is not prone to give one a warm fuzzy feeling. Even 40 years later I argued against getting a new airplane with that engine. It turned out to be a very expensive engine to keep running. Well, we went off the rails again didn't we. This all said, I still welcome any chance I get to buckle up in a 337.
