  First impressions...The brakes are the best brakes I have ever experienced in my life on any vehicle/motorcycle. They are ABS and I have never ridden an ABS bike. I will now never be without ABS. A real Holy Crap difference. A big thank you to Steve Bond for directing me in the ABS direction. (I almost bought another bike without it)
The wind protection is the best I have ever ridden also, including several full dressers Touring bikes I've owned. This may be in part to the fairing and mirror wind protection package. I rode the interstate home and had the windshield all the way down and just felt like I wasn't getting enough wind. Too much protection for my liking.
  Power is smooth and effortless endless power, strong roll on in 5th gear like our Valkyries. Very smooth shifting, no clunking, 7.7 fuel capacity. It has all the creature comforts I want and none of the frills I don't want. First impression...I'm impressed. I got no looks, no gawkers, no talkers at the gas station. This bike does not turn any heads, but I like it.

Well I was not far off with the FJR guess. I know what U are talking about as my FJR had ABS and they are great brakes, Congrats Doug.

Nice Doug.  Like the color.  I don't see a way to do much for the wind protection except raise and lower the windshield.  I think Howard from Tallahassee bought one of those and really liked the power.  Said you could get in trouble with it easy though.

  Jerry...Turn key, unlock, slide off (3 to 5 seconds) There is a composite mounting plate that is attached to the rack. The trunk slides and locks into place, then locks with a key. Nice well designed set up.

I figured it would be quick.  Well thought out bikes and holy cow how far will it go on a tank of gas!!!

CONGRATS Doug, very nice. I am curious to hear about the mileage , that is a lot of fuel, wish the Valkyrie Tourers had that capacity. That bike screams fast, TAIL OF THE DRAGON is what I see.

Wow that really looks great, it was one of the bikes I was interested in but just didn't seem to fit me. Great bike, nice ride good power and storage what else could you want.
