It would cost me almost $4600 in replacement parts. He could have at least got the horn Hiway pegs to match.  Shocked

Not trying to hijack your thread, but maybe this one is a better buy.  Just dropped the price.

1) They guy is too hard to get ahold of/meet up with

2) The bike has been altered too much from a OEM bike, it would only appeal to a like minded person

3) The $ is too high. I've seen IS asking under $5K for them. If it wasn't for the exchange rate I would have bought them ($5K USD = $7.3K CAD). A Tourer for under $4K. So what would a "customized" std Valk be worth? What ever someone will pay for it, which isn't $4600

Asking $4000 for my 99 Standard, had no bites. Actually $3000 would probably buy it, need mower room in shed. Is listed in classified section

Just like we all do, he personalized his Valkyrie.   Unfortunately, his style is so frigg'n unique and IMHO, FUGLY it doesn't appeal to anyone else.

It is, what it is.

Getting rid of the sunken soft bags and the bar fringe would get a few more looks imo
