same here,  64 degrees today sounds like it will be the last 60+ degree day this year from the extended forecast for all of the next 7 days.  No cycle ride, but got in near 100 miles on our 2 ATV's on the trails.  Saw a bald eagle fly right over my head.  I had to get the old gas sitting most of this entire summer out of the gas tanks on both ATV's and put in fresh 91 octane non ethanol gas for the long winter.

Might be pushing my luck though since as said, next 7 days the cycle will be sitting for sure whether it be cold rain with high winds or just too darn cold outside.  Might be one of these years like last year waiting too long to put up the cycle having to get the 1500w heater in the garage to clean/wax the cycle as well as change the oil. Cry

So glad I did not waste my day watching the Pack get humiliated by the lonely Lions.  Got off the trails around 2 p.m. to hear the score in 4th qtr. being 12-3 I think in favor of the Lions much to my shock and awe just home in time to see the Packers score, recover on side kick, and miss the field goal at the end.  Why is it the Packers have NO sense of urgency the last few games loosing them all and come alive way, way too late in the 4th quarter?   If they played more up-tempo offense the entire game, they would score quicker instead of waiting until the end of the game to score.

It ain't easy having grown up in Michigan, Midland to be specific, and being a life long Lion Fan.  The Lions do not often make the tv schedule in southern Ohio so I was most surprised when the wife told me this morning Bengals play Monday night and Lions are on against the Packers.  I told her mid 60s and pure sunshine ( a rare commodity this time of year )  I was ridding.  Went down south 60 miles to my new found favorite establishment the Indian Creek Tavern where bikers congregate.  Watched the second half with utter amazement and then took off back to home.  Guess I had the best of both worlds this day.

PS.  Have been reading in the Detroit sports pages about the control Martha Ford is exerting on the Lions.  Pushed her son to the side and is talking tougher in two weeks than in the entire 50 years here husband and son controlled the team, heck I think she is about 90.   Seems William Clay should have let her run this project all that time and him to just concentrate on autos.  It might not have been so hard to be a Lions fan.

Mid-November, clear sky's and temps in the sixties?  I'm riding, not watching football.  I caught the beginning of the Packer game at my new favorite pit stop, Buckknuckles Bar in Praag WI.  By the time I got home the game was over and there was another 200 miles on the odo...
