Just thought I would tell this story to you folks. Marvin is my Motorcycle instructor for the police dept. The training I received from him over the years has saved me more then once. this was one of those times.
I rode the fat Jap to work last month I was on day work shift. Did my 8 on the Harley FLH and was ready to get on the Fat girl and ride home on a comfortable motor bike. Pisses the guys off when I park her in the garage with all the Harleys

Was on my way home and had exited the beltway onto Ritchie rd. there is one of those round abouts. I had the right away when some guy in a hot rod mustang enter after me and proceeds to cut me off. No problem give the big girl some throttle lay her down in the curve of the round about scrap the pegs and keep going. Well just happens there is another one of these round about about 600 yards up from the first one. this idiot hits the gas as if I'm trying to race him and cuts me off going into the the second circle here we go again. I perform same move. only this time when I stand her up I hammer it. I look up and the left lane is open I signal only to have the same idiot right next to me speed up preventing me from getting in left lane and red light coming up. Here comes the pucker factor I cant go right or left approaching car in front of me way to fast. I hit front brake to scrub off some speed. Hit rear brake it locks up(I should Know Better work bike have anti-lock) I forget sometime the big girl does not. now the ass end is trying to pass the front end and I got a car coming up. I hear Marvin in my head look for a opening and steer through the skid. There was a opening in between the cars on my right . Got off the rear brake steered for the opening and got the bike to a stop. For just a second I thought about laying the Big Girl down........ Thanks Marvin. Morale of the story let the Idiot in the Mustang go and you would not have been in that predicament
