Florida Visit

I am riding down to Florida from Long Island, NY on Friday.  I ride a 2000 blue and silver Interstate that I purchased about 3 years ago from somebody in southern Florida.  I will be there for about 1 week.  I will be staying in the Leesburg area for most of the time.  I am going to ride down to the Keys at some point.  I was hoping that I would be able to join some of the Florida group on a ride while I am there.

Which day do you expect to arrive?  Also on Sunday we sometimes wander to a Sonny's B'que restaurant closer to Leesburg.  Watch the board for a possible ride in that direction.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be coming down.  My best friend is in the hospital in critical condition.. He was put in a coma and is on a respirator.  Really wish that I was riding down but I need to be here.  I might be coming down mid January.

Sorry about your friend.  I just went through that with two friends last week and the week before.  Hope things work out.  Healing thoughts from the 727 hood.

     I am very sorry to hear about your friend. Staying there to bge with him is definitely the right thing to do. We all hope that he survives, and you will make the trip in January.
