I'm not saying I would or wouldn't....but it's intriguing.

I've always been fascinated by these sidewalk spray can artists. They can whip out a painting that
blows my mind in a matter of 10 minutes.
If you have a few minutes, check out this one in particular. I bet if he was given the tins, he could come up with something cool that only you would have----in the entire world.

It's tempting.

Or perhaps this one?

That would be impressive if it was done with an airbrush. It's even more impressive being created with rattle cans.

Excellent point. I also love watching airbrush artists. In the case of these rattlecan artists, let's say you had a bike and the paintjob was pretty well shot. Maybe you'd get it redone at great expense. But let's say someone didn't have a ton of money and didn't care if it became a ratbike or whatever. I'm just thinking this could be an interesting alternative---if you could find a good spraycan artist.

That is pretty exceptional. But I was wondering. These paint can guys are pretty good with a 2 dimensional canvas, but what about a 3 dimensional one? Haven't looked myself yet but would be interested in seeing some of that kind of work.

Yep, the 3rd dimension would definitely pose some obstacles as they can't place a round object like the cans/lids they spray around sideways on their bikes, but maybe round refrigerator style magnets would work, at least on the metal parts.
It'd be interesting to see if any have done any cycles and see how they turned out.

I first saw this type of art in Italy back in 2006 and was amazed how much time tourists spent watching them create their art rather than observe the hundreds of years of history in the buildings, statutes etc surrounding them in the city itself (Florence).

Its good, its tricky, and its impressive, I couldn't hold a candle for this guy. But, its not always who has the nicest paint, I do my own paint, and I couldn't even come close to that guy. But mine is mine, and has meaning to me, I bought my bike for me, not to impress others. Far as his work, I think its great art technique.
