It's Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2015....and here in New York's Adirondacks, I was blessed with temperatures in the mid-forties and partly sunny skies! This departure from the norm, allowed me to squeeze in another satisfying ride on my big black Valk. I left my home in Schroon Lake, wound my way south along the western shore of Loon Lake and the eastern shore of Friends Lake. Stopped for a small chili at Stewarts (a convenience store) in Warrensburgh, before following the shores of the Hudson River northbound, as I worked my way back home.
It was only a 50plus mile jaunt, but at this time of year, every mile on two wheels is icing on the cake. And, I sensed this was my last excursion for this season, as I encountered salt and sand remnants along certain curvy roads and throughway exits. {In response to some recent light flurry action.} And once that stuff starts decorating the roadways, it's time to call it a year.
Happy turkey day to all. Hope everyone has a happy, healthy holiday season.

Me and a couple of buddies spent a weekend up there in the Adirondacks.

Great riding, we had a great time.

Going back next spring.
