So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Wondering if anyone has any experience or recommendation on 12 volt mattress pads (preferred) or 12 Volt electric blankets?

For those interested, I carry four RV batteries in my toy hauler and often overnight it in places I would not consider putting my generator out.   I really don't want it to grow legs and run off.   In those cases, my travel companion (Spousal Unit) would like some external heat.   Because I carry significantly more battery power than most RVs, I'm willing to try one of these mattress pads.   Tried looking at Consumer Reports but couldn't find where they judged any.    So, I thought I'd ask here.   Any experienced input would be greatly appreciated.

Some truckstops carry them. I have one in my pete. Works well. Not much battery drawdown.

I have the 12 volt blanket in my vehicle.  Betsy drain is not an issue because they automatically turn off after 30 or 45 minutes.  This is enough to take the chill off.  With a comforter over it, the warmth is retained nicely.

And it can be used when driving, as well.  On cold mornings, rare though they be here, I can tuck it around me and it keeps me from getting chilled while I wait for the vehicle heater to become effective.

Got a blanket for the better half a few years back for her car because her heater went out.   She sez it worked well.  ( It was cheaper than fixing the car )

Having gone through Cold Weather training and camping at Ft Carson and Ft McCoy in the winter, I'm a firm believer in layering but, apparently I'm not in charge of this so, I'm looking.   Roll Eyes

For what it's worth, I carry two of them.  They aren't large, and so I have one for my feet and one for the rest of me.  When it's 20 degrees out, it gets chilly in the truck overnight.  My feet get cold.....

Mine are up to queen. Thermostat controlled. Stay on as long as you want. Go on top of mattress, sleep on top. Work great.
