Free play - no time on the clock because last play of the game was ANOTHER mystery penalty Facemask call that no one saw, because it didn't happen - defenders hands were on Roger's shoulder pad. Facemask was never touched. Boomer Essiasen said: " Not a penalty, the Lions got screwed" NFL Chief Referee Blandino said: " Did not look like a penalty on replay..." Lions were ripped of - again. Bunch of NFL bullshit. Anyone that doesn't know these games are fixed is blind. This crap has been going on for years and years, Seattle, Texas, Chicago... the list is endless...

Hey the replay shows the defender did hit the face mask. Then there was good acting, of turning the head like he still had hands on face mask.

Detroit played not to lose, instead of playing to win, the second half. There was an inadvertent, finger in the mask for a splint second. Caldwell needs to go, terrible play calling. Should have been a timeout before the Hail Mary, so they could stack the line with tall guys. Coach says they were expecting a lateral...huh?
I have been a Lions fan for over half a century. They are as self destructive as the Browns and always seem to make mental errors, both coaches and players.

It's awfully hard to win a game when you are playing both the refs and the other team. Lions just need to play up and make the game more definitive, and make it impossible for the refs to take it away. But, the Hail Mary was an awesome way to win, got to give credit where credit is due. And I am a die hard fan of the Lions

go PACK go!
Lions deserved to win that game, they played better overall, but it is not always the best team that win the games.
Acting has a lot to do with it nowadays where a very slight tap on the facemask is a penalty. Becoming a game of woosies and pansies.
I still think I need to quit my job and try out for offensive lineman for the Pack, they are not very good as evidence all year long with 2nd/3rd stringers in there not doing very well. Too slow and weak, I might as well give it a shot then? LOL.
At least if I make the team, I could play 1 game and make more moola than one does easily in 1 full year of working a normal job.
Pretty sad the Packers leading rusher was Aaron Rodgers on that 20+ yard scramble for a TD all night long with Ed Lacy benched and the bright spot was the rookie running back who made a few good runs is all. I guess best to be lucky than good for once??
Next week I don't know who to watch if one team sucks worse than the other, the cowboys or packers? Both need to play consistently and neither team has all year long and I am a fan of both teams, more so the Cowboys in the late 70 and 80's and 90's before Jerry Jones was much involved. The great teams with Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman and company were the true Cowboy's I remember well.

Pretty much with Gig on this one. Most of the points made by others are credible as well. But, I'll add a little something to it all. Rogers is a very good qb, but he may be a better actor. Not only does he embellish the whole thing, if you watch him before the hand flashed before his face mask, he actually ducked down to put his head near the hand of the defender. If you doubt me on this, take another look. As far as Caldwell goes, my question is, how many coaches do we have to go through before we realize it's not the coach. Although I do wonder why Vp alvinjohnson was not on the field. Everyone in the world knew it was going to be a Hail Mary. Why would you not have your tallest, fleetest player on the field following theirs? Oh, BTW, the NFL is about as credible as a sports league as the WWF!
