Hi Everybody,  I joined the forum in August 2015 when I purchased my 1999 Valk I/S.  The forum and diehard folks on here have been invaluable with their experience and advise with the Valk issues.  I've read just about every post in the 1500 Tech Category since August and took away great information.  When I got my Valk it went up on a lift the same day and I tore it down almost to just the frame, (didn't pull the engine block) and repaired or replaced just about everything I could find that wasn't just right.  Did several mods that were recommended here and added a few myself.  I've been riding since 1970 and have owned many many bikes from Sachs 250 to GL1800.  Have always done my own wrenching.  Little faith and trust in dealers except for mounting tires on the wheels.  I purchased the latest Digisync and what a nice piece of gear that is.  I'm not a big poster on forums but if somebody asks a question I can help with I'll pop in.  The Valk is a great bike, wish Honda hadn't shelved it, hate the F6B.  Wasn't crazy about my GL1800 either, too much plastic.  I have a bad habit of saying what I think so if I've offended anybody so far, my apologies.  Long live the F6C!   -Daycruiser

Welcome. Go ahead and post what's on your mind. Without posters there would be no forum.  cooldude

Welcome in! I'm just around the corner from you  (in national terms anyways). I live in Sneads Ferry, NC. If you happen to ride down to the coast, let me know and we'll grab some chow.

Welcome from Central Florida! So do we all have a place to stay when we come to NC now?
Ditto on the holding back part. We have constantly been trying to "edumacate" the Obama lovers around here with little success, but it's fun to try. Chime in and enjoy!

Raider, You bet.  Ride down that way all the time.  Weather permitting we'll make that chow hall call a reality.  Have already made reservations to go to Inzane this year in WV, hope to meet lots of folks there as well.

Well thanks a bunch for the offer!
Looks like we should be able to do Inzane again this year. Usually ride up with others and wouldn't want to do that to you!!
When the time gets nearer peek into the Florida section and see if you want to join in the ride North.
