Talk about a very moving inspirational day. Had living Veterans from WWII Korea Vietnam and the current ones from hat we will call collectively-The Sandbox. 76 motors and their riders on a very over cast day that stayed dry. You know right at the start of the ceremony and at the P G R briefing we were asked to put our cell phones on silent or vibrate. Do I HAVE to tell you what happened during the invocation??

The sad part was I was standing next to this man when both requests about the cell phones were made. After Fort Leonard Wood I rolled to Licking Missouri where we were standing a Flag line and do an escort to the cemetery. We only had 24 motors for this Ex Army and former P G R Man. The sun went down while a few of us were sitting at the Sonic rehashing the day. Said our goodbyes and I headed South. Pulled into the Murphy at Houston Mo. and filled the tank and added the Stabil. It's pitch blackout I'm 28 miles from the house and about halfway the headlights crap out.

Thank GOD my fog light/road lights are on a separate circuit!

One of the WWII Vets I talked with was a waist gunner in a B-24. We would have talked longer but he told me he tired rather easily these days. We did welcome each other home and thanked each other for our Service.

On of these days they will be putting a wreath on my final resting place.

All in all a VERY fine fulfilling day. RIDE SAF.
