Happy Holidays everyone

I've been away for a while. Just read a few threads and felt like I never left  

WHAT'S NEW
Stripped the Trunk and saddlebags with all hardware from the '99 I/S. Retrofitted her with a nice set
of Leatherlike-brand saddlebags and gifted her to my nephew in Schenectady, NY.

WELL...
Had thought to refurbish all three pieces (saddlebags and trunk) and paint them Black to match my standard.
This won't happen for a while. Maybe next summer.

The left saddlebag is missing the rubber seal. Both saddlebag latches are pitted and need replacement.
The right saddlebag has minor road rash, otherwise in excellent condition.

BRRRMMM
Have not gone riding in quite a while. At least not since getting back to LA in August.
Still have the 97 Goldwing w/36K miles. Might sale it or trade her for another I/S.

Glad you've checked in Paxton.  Was thinking about you a while back and wondering how you've been. 

I've riden my bike exactly 3 times since last April 1st.....the day they started me on chemo.

Thank you for checking on me. I'm still around doing OK.

The Black Standard is in my garage collecting dust, as my driveway is undergoing expansion.
I am now busy working on my house.

I am not riding much any more. I often think of selling the Standard but she has
a spot in my heart.  We'll see..   

Incidentally, I traded my 97 Goldwing for a '78 CB750F / SS. Totally converted to a CAFE RACER.
I got it in January and later found problems with the throttle cables. It also has a BAD oil leak.
I'll take it to the Honda dealer and get it fixed... She's a real beauty.

The things that I said I would get done by this summer, none of them got done
