This is being touted as historic in the motorcycle world. The bikes have been missing for 50 years and were thought to have been destroyed.
Brough Superiors were called the Rolls Royce of motorcycles, some will say with the full approval of Rolls.   Until I read the articles, I had never even heard of them but, apparently in their day, they were very special.    Kind of like our Valkyries, just not nearly as fast or reliable.  ;)

Nothing like taking something rare and valuable, hording it in less than favorable conditions (not even throwing a tarp over them), and letting it turn to SH!T rather than sell them to someone while they can still be saved.  I mean, if your not going to do it yourself, give or sell them to some one who will.

My ex father in law had a collection of wood speed boats stored in various sites around the country. Maybe 12 or 15 of them. Things like Chris Craft and Hacker. In his mind I believe he saw them like this

He also "collected" mid 60's Cadillac Eldorado convertibles which sat and deteriorated.

Such a shame.
