I'm finding it rather interesting some of the clues and trails of information they're digging up. It reminds me of what my dad said many years ago....."don't think for one minute that he committed suicide."  There were still distant family members back in Europe on both his parent's sides of the family and they all felt much the same way according to some correspondence my grandmother received after the war. It was well known that many of the higher up's in the Nazi party had made arrangements to flee, some by plane and some by old beat up fishing boats. According to letters from over there, many had observed their departures...entire families would leave under cover of darkness and fly out. Apparently some had commandeered a few old C-47's they had swiped somewhere, sure wouldn't raise any suspicions in one of those. Will be interesting to see what the series comes up with.

I like that stuff, but, have to watch such stuff when alone. I read as much as I can about the war criminals.
I want to watch that when I can, I'm thinking Odessa was involved.

Been meaning to ask, how far are you from Clear Water/Largo ?

Gonna put that one on the DVR list.

I watched a show on AHC  (American Heroes Channel) called "The Real Inglorious Bastards".

It's about three Jewish men that join the O.S.S. to "Kill Nazis's"

An amazing story.

Check it out, if you can find it.

One of the heroes is Fred Mayer, who is still enjoying life in West Virginia

John, finally got around to watching the show.

Your right, it's very interesting.

I never really thought about it much, that Hitler would have set up his escape.  I've always just accepted the official view, that he committed suicide with his girlfriend, as the Russians where closing in.  But it makes sense, seeing the assets he had at his disposal.

The things/places the show's hosts are finding, is pretty amazing.

It'll be something I'll keep up on.

Thanks.  cooldude

Am glad you brought this up JOHN.  I have watched every episode.  There are some real world class detectives on this case and they are making a great case for it.  Think about it.  Hitler was never showed to the world after WWII.  Said his remains went to the Russians but they never showed him either and they had more hatred for him than we did.   Many many Nazis escaped to Argentina at the end and why would he not make this his destination also.

I always watch the one before it also  The Curse of Oak Island.  I am so hoping those Yooper  Lagina Brothers can find something down in the tunnels way below.  It may have already been removed though  back in 1795.

Yes Chuck, I like to watch the Oak Island program also. Kinda gets me how they drag out a series like that, I'm wanting them to find the treasure and get it overwith. Curiosity is killing me.  Grin

Yes, you're right.

How else do you discover anything that was hidden, and possibly booby trapped, by unknown people, hundreds of years ago.

It's all conjecture and assumptions until they FIND whatever is hidden, even if its a Horaldo Rivera find.

Nothing!

I'll continue to have fun with it, thank you.

It's called entertainment,  maybe overly commercialized, but still interesting.
