Here's my take on this. Ami Horowitz is obviously conducting an experiment. By sounding enthusiastic he's actually trying to see how many Yaleys he can get to show they are dumber than a box of rocks when it comes to knowing their own Constitution.

By asking them to sign the petition to repeal the First Amendment, he doesn't really go into exactly what that entails. I would hope every high school educated person would know this. This social experiment clearly shows that's not the case!

Yes, if you believed this was serious, well...a few years ago tables were set up and people with clip boards were getting petitions signed "Demanding the end of women's suffrage". If they had half a brain they would have know the Suffrage movement gave women the right to vote.
