Been looking for a truck for almost 3 years. Finally found a
truck without 200000 miles on it. Devoted Ford buyer swapped
to GM. 1999 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 longbed 6.0 liter vortec.
only 100500 miles. Hope it is as trouble free as my Valk.

Now that 6.0 vortec is bullet proof.  Heck of an engine, just have plenty of gas stations close by.  I have one in a 2009 gmc savannah cutaway van.  Also if the trucks from this era are like Chevy Express vans then that front end will last forever also do to about 15 zirc fittings.
This one looks very well cared for.  Do enjoy.

good shape for a 99 with only 100K.

good luck on it.

About the only thing I did not pass up when I owned my near same 3/4 ton 6.0L was a gas station achieving a horrible 13.5 avg mpg never seeing over 15 avg mpg ever.  It rode like a lumber wagon as well unloaded compared to all the 1/2 tons I have bought over the years.  I didn't think a 3/4 ton suspension would be that firm of a ride until I bought it 'thinking' I needed it but never really did use it to it's full heavily downloaded capacity.    1/2 ton trucks ride so much nicer than what my 3/4 ton truck rode like.

But, if you are not planning on taking it long distances (due to horrible gas mileage)  and instead loading it up on shorter trips,  this is the ideal situation of owning this type of truck.

Nice looking truck. Been a Ford fan since the 1970's. Most makers are making great vehicles these days, and they all make a lemon or two. If they get serviced once in a while, you can catch the bad stuff before they break cooldude
