am sure someone on here will snatch it up for the 3 luggage hard bags alone are worth 1 grand probably if not too beat up.

Someone on hear with some mechanical abilities will be getting a nice ride in the end.

That is one reason I posted it. Along with the time it was posted. If I had a chance of getting there to pick it up, I would have called them back

The post is gone.

If all it needs is the hoses, that's like what? $10. Figure it will also need a good carb cleaner cleaning.

But like you said, parts are worth a LOT more.

That didn't take too long. I would've done the same thing.

If I had gotten that bike , It would be re-furbished. I can not bring myself to part out a Valk if it is repairable. That bike looked complete. There are way to many being sacrificed .

A guy on my local Craigslist had a low mileage Valk with a blown Motor posted for $500. I got ahold of him an hour after he posted and it was already gone.

I wouldn't have mined all the rusted/corroded chrome, I would have gotten it running and be grinning from ear-to-ear to be riding an IS again, and one at such a low price.

I can't see it taking more than $20 to get it running if the motor wasn't hydro locked. For me, I still have those parts, so even if it was done, it still wouldn't have cost too much.

I just wish I could have tried to buy it. But with a 40 hr drive home, and no one to go see it, someone else more local would have gotten it before me (as you can see).
