Good Follow Up Report on My Cancer

As many of you know I have undergone surgery and radiation treatment for prostate cancer during the past six months.  I am very pleased to report that the results of my follow up visit to the doctor today
indicate that the cancer appears to be eradicated.  I will continue to be checked every six months but am very grateful for the support of my VRCC friends during this challenging time. Thanks to all of you for the positive thoughts and prayers which contributed to my recovery and healing!

That's awesome Greg, very happy for you. They sure have come a long way in being sucessful with curing some cancers,   wish it was all cureable. You keep beating it brother. :cooldude:

Great news indeed.  I worked with a guy who had what sounds like the same procedures.  Still doing great after many years now.

Glad to hear all went well. Been there done that. Went through the operation in 07 woke up from operation was told inoperable  went through the pain but no gain. 40 radiation treatments 4 yrs on elegard shots, got nuttered to get of that stuff. currently on casodex still going well.  Staying alive. thats the name of the game. :cooldude:

Hey Greg,  Glad to hear all went well.  I had the same procedures 8 yrs ago and have been cancer free since then.
