Short Notice Sunday Ride.

Notice to all VRCC Riders:  Sunday Morning 01/10/16. Greg (DragonValk) and I are meeting at the Central Florida College Campus on County Rd 491 in Lecanto at 0900. We will be picking up Joe Cobb at 491/Stagecoach Trail about 9:15, and meeting more guys at the Hess/Speedway at SR 50 and Spring Lake Hwy at about 10:00. All are welcome to join us. We will be riding over the river and thru the woods to our eventual destination of the Shamrock in Floral City for lunch, with another ride through the Back-Country to follow our repast. Again, ALL are welcome to join us. The more, the merrier.

Looks like two days of Valksters had a great time and good rides. Sherry and I stayed home in Palmetto for a family get together on Saturday and just plain old needed house stuff ignored by frequent cottage time.  We did however see bikes constantly with the Thunder By the Bay going on downtown Sarasota, mostly HD's.  I also carved out some time to putter with The 1500 installing LED's, a new tank bib and a new clear view windshield.  On a good note this particular family get together is an annual thing where we have Portillo's shipped in from Chicago with Italian Beef that with my taste buds is unparalleled. Not sure if anyone has had Portillo's before, I know Grumpy has and that lucky dog is getting a Portillo's built in his back yard. Coming soon at 60 and Lakewood Dr, sometime in March.  Sounds like a RTE must!  I believe only four restaurants outside of Chi-town!

  Hey Nick, enjoyed riding with you yesterday. Didn't know you guys were heading home. Don and I went back to Hess/Speedway at Spring lake hwy and with in 10 minutes James, Gil, and the rest of that group showed up, great timing. Your invitation to take all of us to Da Bronx for real food sounds great . I don't think I have ever had real food but would give it a try  . Does your invitation include air fare, if so put me down for 2
