FAA registration for drones

Registration with the FAA is free until January 20, after that it will be $5.  They charged me the $5, but are supposed to refund it. Registration is good for up to 3 drones, and the assigned number must be on each unit before it is flown.

You have to agree to rules, including not flying over people.  My camera is due around summer, and it hasn't got controls, but follows a sensor carried by the subject to be photographed.  Which may make it hard to not fly over people's.  We'll send see...
