If these new lights shine 2x's as far on bright, is it really needed though if going say 65 mph on down?

I think the brights on my Valk I/S with the same bulbs as OEM shine plenty far forward enough, it is the side range that bothers me a ton more from critters coming at me.

I do feel though that dims on any vehicle suck regardless of car or cycle.  I always immediately after a car goes past me coming the other way put my brights back on.  I also slow down 5 mph or more with dims on with oncoming cars coming at me on my cycle, you simply cannot see as far or as good to the sides of any vehicle with dims vs. brights.

I think the dims of headlights need to be improved to shine out further to the sides.
