am sure the NFL will try to forget the ending of this game and not hype it up since was a disgrace of a few players putting a damper on the NFL for sure. #55 and #24 for the bengals defense cost them the game in the end no doubt and the NFL should take note of this and fine and suspend these 2 players for acting so disgraceful representing the NFL. Even the Bengals fans tossing cups/items at Big Ben, QB for steelers, when he was carted off the field with shoulder injury is pretty sad state of affairs. Is there any Bengals fans out there from Ohio, etc.?? And here I thought Vikings fans were the worst?

Yup, it was pretty bad. The Bengals coach should have reined those guys in before it cost them the game.

totally agree, the head coach just stood there on the sidelines with no emotion. Poor coaching as well.

It was disgraceful alright. The coach should have done more, but I think there should be some firing of players going on. If these guys want to act like jobless street thugs the NFL should fire them and make it so.

I thought it was a very entertaining game . I got my money's worth laying on the couch watching it on the flat screen. I became a Titan fan when The Great State Of Tennessee got the team however before that I was a Steeler fan and I guess I still am as I always pull for them unless they play the Titans that sucked this year. The Bengals had that game until Burfict and Jones went hood thug.

I always suspected you was a yankee sympathizer, my southern friend! Yeah, it was an entertaining game. That receiver was out before he hit the ground when he got speared. Looked like a rag doll. I like the Steelers, they are always stocked with Wolverines.

It will be interesting to see the penalties come down on those two. Huge fines on Burfict and a suspension. Can't imagine how those two must be feeling about there actions on the field that cost them that game. I wish the best for Marcus ( Titans Qb ) being my wife is from the islands she's a huge fan of his

I am from the greater Cincinnati area and am a minor Bengals fan. I knew Ben when he was at Miami and am a big fan of his. I was embarrassed by the Cincinnati fans reaction to most of the game. Although I do think that was a great catch in the end zone, it was not a touchdown. He did not have control of the ball with both feet on the ground, thus no td and a bad call. Burfect and Jones should be find and suspended. Lewis should be fired and Burfect and Jones should be released by Brown. Brown doesn't have the balls to do either. Brown does not have 2% of the football knowledge of his father. He was jut member of the lucky sperm club and Paul wasn't smart enough to sell the team before giving it to this idiot.

I saw Ben lead a 2nd half comeback for a win when he was with Miami against Marshall in the Motor City Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit against Randy Moss' Marshall team in Ben's senior year. Been a Ben fan ever since. I think it was a 17 point halftime lead for Marshall, and Ben marched his team all down the field f or a very exciting Bowl win

We went down to Mobil for the GMAC Bowl the next year and watched him beat up an a pretty good Louisville team also. I had four guys from the team in class that year. Right after the game he announced his intent to enter the draft. Just think how good he could have been if he stayed one more year at Miami. He did come back an finish his degree like he promised his Mother.

Hey, Rog, now that you mention it, he must have been an underclassman at Ford Field It was fun to see a real good bowl game where I had no connection to either team. It may have been a 24 point halftime deficit, Ben was outstanding. I stand corrected, you can still buy that beer, Buddy

I haven't been a Bengals fan since the 80's when they had the 2 powerful running backs and they were doing the Ickey Woods shuffle. I think, not sure, Boomer Esiason was the QB back then as well. Been near 30 years, cannot remember much that far back, but do remember they had 2 very powerful and good running backs, one was Ickey Woods.
Agree though, what fans would toss cups, etc. at Steelers QB, big Ben, when being carted off the field. Shows you real class right there, NOT!
Am also surprised big Ben, the steelers QB, did a brief interview after the game for fear of being yet again hurtled garbage at him from the Bengals Fans, real class right there, NOT!
#24 for the Bengals showing on TV crying after the game was well deserved. And what was with #55 taking that extra 1 minute after he intercepted that pass late in the game taking the game ball running into the endzone into the tunnel and then coming back out onto the field just showing off? Who does that? I wish he would not have been declared down on the field intercepting that pass and gotten a safety for running the wrong way into the endzone. Now that would have been funny.

Wow there are a lot of Bengals haters on this board, I grew up just across the river from Cincinnati, in Bellevue, KY and I now live in Richland, WA and I'm still and Bengals and Reds fan, the one commit that was made about Mike Brown not know football like his dad Paul Brown is very true.
Now to Saturday nites game, there is a lot of bad blood between the Bengals and Steelers, there always has dating back to the 70's Ken Anderson was the Begals QB back then, in one game one of the Steelers D lineman rushed Anderson and got a hold of his face mask and had his had almost turn around 180 degrees Anderson was out of the game and I can't remember how many games he missed but he was out of some time. Fast forward to 2006 playoff game against the Steelers Palmers first pass he throws the ball 60 yards and was hit low by Kimo Von Oelhoffen and tears his ACL. Maybe 2 years later Hines Ward does a crack back block on Keith Rivers, Outside Linebacker for the Bengals and Breaks Rivers jaw, Rivers never saw him coming. Same thing happen to Cincy's punter 2 years ago, punt returner was retuening the ball and Cincy punter got blind sided and broken jaw and eye socket. So there is a lot of bad blood between these too teams. Now Saturdays game had a PIttsburgh coach grab a Bengals player by the hair on the side lines that is un called for and he should be suspended. Then there is Porter on the field jawing with the Bengals players, why was he on the field, he walk right up to some Bengals players that were huddle up and stated talikng yelling and when Jones yells back the ref throw a flag on Jones because a NON PLAYER for the Steelers was on the field and came into there huddle, yes there should of been a flag thrown but it should of been againt the Steelers, the ref FU that one. The call againt Burfict was good, but earler in the 4th Qt Bengals running back Govani Bernard got knock out by an helmet hit by Steelers LB Shazier, he lead with the top of his helmet and hit Bernard in thed head, that is a targeting, and should of been called. The fans throwing things at Big Ben was bad and did show no class but the comments from others above make it sound like everyone there was throwing things at him, it was a few fans and it is my understanding that they have been arrested, and believe me Bengals players have had things thrown at them in Pittsbugh. This was a ugly game and one that is going to hurt for awhile, we had the game won, if Hill doesn't fumble or if the ref's flag Pittsburgh for Porter being on the field like they should of then you guys are talking about how the Steelers need to control there coaches. But i know there are a lot of What if's and it dosen't mean anything. Bengals lost.

I'm a Browns fan living in Cincinnati.
Growing up in Akron, we had a visceral hatred of the team from Pittsburgh--hard to make myself even type S______s. This was back in the day before the Browns became the Ravens, in the days of Brian Sipe, Bernie Kozar. I even met Lou Groza one time and my dad claims to have taken me to see the great Jim Brown play a game, although I can't remember that.
I have not been able to transition to the Bengals as I did from the Indians to the Reds, and have never been a Marvin Lewis fan. I think "THIS IS A DISGRACE!" in the words of Rick Minter applies. Fans in the stands, refs on field, coaches, and players all need to take a little blame. Pittsburgh is just as dirty a team, or have we all forgotten about guys like Heinz Ward???? I agree that Burfict and Jones are both loose cannons and should face repercussions from the league.
For all the wrong reasons, it nice that Cleveland is (at least temporarily) relieved of being the laughing stock of the NFL.

As a life long Cowboys fan I have no love for the Steelers. But... Coaches are allowed on the field during timeouts and injury time outs. I have no doubt Porter goaded PacMan into that. But you got to be smarter than that.

Read the rule book, during injury time outs only trainers and the head coach can be on the field, not an assistant coach.. I can understand even understand if Porter coached Brown but he doesnt, he coaches the LB's. The whole game was bad, the ref's lost control of the game plan and simple. The players will do anything they can get away with, it is human nature.
Put to have a coach on the field in the huddle with the other team is wrong, its not like the Bengals all gather around him he walk to were they where. So how the NFL is talking about fining Porter for being pon the field, a lot of good that does the Bengals. I remember when Porter played he was a no class durty palyer and he is a no class durty coach.

I haven't read the rules. And I didn't see the pacman incident. I'm just saying those players, that team, and that coach HAVE to be smarter than that. That hit that Burfict put on Brown was reminiscent of Jack Tatum. We don't need to go back to that.
