Josh, I'll have to try to get all my bikes to more InZanes. I've actually ridden the Standard to some five InZanes, but then I've been to two without riding at all. I hope I'm not the only one who rides with bags and no windscreen. For what it's worth the Istate that you would have seen at InZane XV has a screen abbreviated enough that it may as well not be there. That may be a bit of an exaggeration as the fairing and screen does take the wind out of my chest.

But even so with the 300+ bikes that were there I don't remember seeing bags/no windshield combo. So I thought the comment safe to post. But alas, I have much to learn.

those specs for a '98 are incorrect. I have just about every magazine test and '98s make 10 hp less than the 49 state '97 all due to the camshafts, see my posts on camshafts. 17hp more he is comparing SAE HP of a '97 to the rear wheel HP of a '98.

Having a 100hp Valk sucks. I prefer a Valk that blows!

Paper specs don't count. Put them on a dyno. No difference.

The thing I don't understand is how someone can buy a motorcycle then let it sit and not ride it, I got my Valk about 2 years ago, it had 32000 plus miles on it, the first thing I asked was it 132000 plus miles and I was told no and after reading up on the bike and looking at the service records I believe him, but I just don't know why someone would not ride it, I have put over 22000 miles on my bike since getting it and it would be a lot more but I was out of town on work on twice for a awhile, I did take it to Idaho with me, some really nice roads down there BTW. The more I ride her the better she gets. Maybe its me but I love my bike and it stands out from the crowed and it just rides so good. I don't plan to stop riding for a long time.
