well good for them, i was fired once when i was young when i told my boss i wasnt going to do something,, later in life i fired a few for refusing to do what i told them to do..if you work for me you will work during your scheduled work time and take breaks when the work load provides time,, on the other hand, usually you will start work and work 2 hours and take a break, then work 2 hours and take lunch, then 2 hours and take a break,,work 2 hours and go home,,,in the const. trades that has changed to work 2 1/2 hours and take a break them work 2 1/2 to 3 and then work 3 and go home...

Good on Arien. While 5 minutes may not sound like much time it adds up over the work day and other employees are doing THEIR-mooslims-jobs while they are gone. Wonder will they sue-Very AMERICAN of them  uglystupid2 like the mooslim truck drivers that refused to deliver alcohol! Seriously I see a "discrimination" lawsuit fermenting here. And WHEN-not IF-but when it goes to litigation watch these mooslims win another one!  tickedoff I hope and PRAY that I are WRONG. RIDE SAFE.

Allowing say 2-3 unscheduled breaks per day to pray for 5 minutes each time over 50 employees is a TON of lost work time, especially if they work on an assembly line at Ariens company.  I can see their point firing them for sure.   You can be sure though the muslims will fight it stating NOT freedom of religion.  Ariens should NOT have allowed it in the first place to go on for so long.

Our company hires 100's (like about 300-400) seasonals for 6 weeks to fulfill customer orders during Nov. and Dec.  If say 50 of those seasonals decided to take another 10-15 minutes more to pray,  it would create undue hardship on the others working the fulfillment line for sure.  EVERYONE of those 100's of workers MUST take breaks together or the entire shipping out will not get done for sure.

However, not being a legal eagle,  I still think it is unlawful in my eyes with the company I work for to ONLY have two 15 minute breaks scheduled per day is all, but we get to leave 30 minutes earlier than most companies say 8-4 (8 hours) vs. the normal 8-4:30 (with a 30 minute lunch) for most other companies.  Get this though,  other employees in other buildings (like normal office jobs) do get their two 15 minute breaks and 30 minute lunch, just not in our building and maybe some others as well, but then they do stay 30 minutes longer scheduled work time though.  You know darn well 95% of our company employees in our building do NOT take ONLY 15 minute breaks but extend to 20 minutes each on average daily since not many of us can eat our lunch without rushing it daily in those ONLY 15 minutes by the time you go get your food, microwave it for 1-4 minutes, then go back to your desk/break area and eat it all in say 10 minutes or less and then as well expect us to go to the bathroom as well during those ONLY two 15 minute breaks.  On one hand it is GREAT leaving 30 minutes earlier, but the time there surely flies by since really NO time to get away from your work area to relieve the stress, etc.  30 minutes per day being two 15 minute breaks is barely enough time to run to the bathroom since each bathroom is almost 80 yards away in our building and both upstairs as well.  I can see though if a 'must have' to go poddy,  they cannot deny you that otherwise 'an accident' will happen for sure which I have come close dozens of times.
