I'm reluctant to do a political post but my point here is that you research the candidates, know the issues, know where the candidates stand on the issues and vote with an educated opinion.
I am including a link here, if you don't like it find one that you are comfortable with.
Who WE vote for is going to help OUR country or destroy it.  I love this country and hope to find a politician that feels the same way.

I too wish more folks were educated voters, educated on the issues and not just listen to the sound bites like the ones about hope and change or fundamental change.

I basically tried that one year in the state elections, problem was that most of them just moved up in office a rank and half were for all practical purposes unopposed.

That helps a lot. I side within 3% of 6 candidates! Probably so close because I didn't select any first lady.

Truthfully, I have the same problem, some of the entrenched SC lawmakers run unopposed.

I only know three options:

vote for them
vote for someone else
don't vote

I really don't want to vote for them...

I don't think it'll make much difference for the democratic candidates. It seems hillary's past is finally catching up with her. It's about time. It'll be interesting to see if the clinton political machine can save her this time.
But, I digress as usual. It appears bernie may well be the nominee. And, I can't imagine this country ever electing a socialist. But, then, I certainly didn't think this country would ever elect obama.

Most have no idea what a socialist means. The willingly ignorant never fail to amaze.

Interesting write up on that phenomenon... Funny that "Socialism" has a higher approval rating than "Government Managed Economy" among millennials... (And "Free Market Economy" gets a higher approval rating than "Capitalism" does.)

What the hell are they "teaching" at university these days???

I'm guessing the dumbmasses want the USA to be like former Socialist East Germany. The dumbmasses will have forgotten or don't know about the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Or perhaps they want it to be like socialist Romania? The willingly ignorant will likely have no idea where Romania is or the devastating effects Nicolae Ceaușescuon had on the country and population.

Or the idiots could take a look at this list and wonder why all of them failed and what kind of life the population of each had.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_socialist_states

But it's unlikely any of them have the brain power to think beyond the drivel fed to them every day about their favorite TV shows, jocks and celebrities.

Thanks for posting that link.  I did the test last fall but tried it again.  It's interesting to see on paper exactly where I stand and if any candidates stand with me.
