Well, I shot Glenn @ Woody's a email to get the ball rolling on a fairing. His quick response has got my head spinning. Once I settled in, not as challenging as I initially thought. I searched and read a lot of archived posts, very helpful. Still unsure about radio to purchase. He mentions the Infinity PRV250 and PRV350. When I looked them over on Amazon they don't seem bad. I do like there small foot print within the fairing. Have to admit I am out of touch on this subject. I do know I want Bluetooth capability, usb hook up out front as well as all connections for devices and accessories. After that not as sure. Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations? Just want good clear sound at affordable $$. Rather not mess with an amp if I don't have to. All this wiring has me nervous. I don't have a clue. I have saved some of the posts I found on here with pics to help me along. Speakers he mentioned don't seem bad. Memphis PR4102V2? I do know I want the 2 - 4x10's. Is the handlebar, wired remote ($90) a good investment? Seems easier to order with him and everything shows up together and FITS! What about the indicator lamps? Did you guys order his optional wiring harness ($40) or did you do the ad 3 lights and do the splicing? Might be more but, can't think of it right now.

Any Car stero standard size will fit. Wiring not difficult. A ton will have BT capabilities. My remote is wireless but I think JimmyT has a wired one. For my indicator lights I mounted them above my stero on the fairing and just made some splices in the wiring with plugs for easy removal. (You can leave them in your headlight bucket and they can still be seen)

I installed a Sony stereo, Rockford Fosgate Punch amp, and 4 Alpine speakers on mine. Got the best prices on everything from Sonic Electronix. I had the speakers sent to Glen and he installed them for me before shipping. Glenn is !st class to deal with. I did mine like BF here, and couldn't be happier with the results.

I have a Kenwood unit with a marine wired remote. The stereo came with an infrared remote, but the buttons were small and sometimes in bright direct sunlight, the remote wouldn't work. The marine wired remote had the essential buttons , but larger and are also lit for night. I chose to have the 4 speakers up front. The 4) 5" speakers that Glenn sent with the fairing, did not last long. They were Memphis Audio I believe. The post mounted tweeters of the coaxial speakers broke and a rattling started. I replaced them with Kicker 5.25" coaxial speakers and also added an amplifier.

I guess I'll have to give up on getting my hands on a Hannigan fairing. I'll be ordering a Woody in the near future too. But I don't think I want to install a stereo. I'm going to install my waterproof charging mount for my phone in there, as well as all of my indicator lights and gauges.

Cajunito said what I did with mine....but I'll add to the discussion that I added my indicator lights above the stereo like Bighead did....however....I followed the Interstate wiring diagram and added a right AND a left turn. So now I have four indicator lights instead of just the three. Spliced everything in the headlight bucket....easy peasy.

Thanks for all the good info! Wondering what model radio's you guys are running. As I look around, it is making me dizzy. Probably not gonna mount a amp. So Im looking for good power and sound from a unit. Radio I want ease of use, front USB and aux jack.

From Glenn. Hey guy, Glenn from Woody's (aka ¿spoom) here. I quit posting years ago because of all the political BS but from time to time folks send me a link to some posting here that they think might be of interest. Regarding the windshield sizes (and why they're often the same among aftermarket fairings) it's pretty simple and feel free to share the info, copy & paste, whatever. The shield size I use is the same as 1996~2013 Electraglide/Streetglide bikes because I purposefully did the spacing & radii when I designed the fairing so that I could be in the fairing business without being in the windshield business. There are so many great shields, trim pieces and pouches out there for those years of H-Ds that I wanted to make sure folks could use most of them even on a fairing designed for a Honda. Not sure why a shield company wouldn't want to tell a prospective customer what size their product was, but I respect their right to do so Wink Your bumblebee still looks great! Take care, Glenn
