Is Hot Springs, NC really hot in the winter?

Hi, all!  Long time no see, long time no post. Well I couldn't resist touching base with everyone today to say hi, and to tell you that we miss all of our Florida riding friends. Since we had a couple of our FL buds here with us today, I just had to come out of my hillbilly haven to post.  Many of you have been to Hot Springs, NC in the summer, but have you been there in the middle of winter?  This was our first time too.  Since it was in the 50s today, Todd & I, and Bob & Michele rode the Rattler today to meet Greg and Sandy for lunch. So here's some pics for ya.

Although the leaves are off the trees, the scenery here is still outstanding:

I was up to Blue Ridge last weekend , just in time for the snow .  We didn't have the bike and were able to travel about in the truck with no problems. I enjoy the scenery, any chance we have up in the mountains . Though I think, I prefer winter because you can see the landscape with leaves fallen.

Been thinking of the two of you and hoping you're able to cope with the winter weather . Glad to see some of the gang able to make it to the mountains and actually ride this time of year. Have fun and ride safe.
