Spring fever has been catching up with me so I was messing around outside and in the garage. I had to lift the cover on the bike (just a peek)
Well that did it, I succumbed to the temptation.  When I turned the key and was reminded of the LED lights on my new bags. I put new, brighter
bulbs in my gauges. Sixteen years I finally got around to it.
I remembered to turn the gas on (lesson learned the hard way).  The bike turned over but was being stubborn, full choke alone wouldn't do it.
I had to twist the throttle a few times, then the bike started with a roar.  As the oil starts to flow so did my blood.  IT'S ALIVE!!! I'M ALIVE!!!
The exhaust fumes were building so I opened the service door. Was the euphoria I was feeling from carbon monoxide or the joy of hearing
the engine purr?   Reality started setting in. The wheels would not turn today.
The rain was melting the snow and ice on the road but there's more of that coming. I'll have to settle for starting the snow blower instead
of the bike.  No where near the joy of riding a Valkyrie.

I really don't see the need to uncover the bike in WI winters and just start it up is all since roads are too treacherous out, too many slippery/wet spots on the roads.

I am actually going to 'somewhat' enjoy the next snowfall coming this Tuesday into Wednesday suppose to be 6" or so, give or take 4" either way depending on where the storm tracks.  My mother in law finally bought a new Toro 7hp snowblower, so I get her old 1974 newer in last 15 years 5hp Briggs engine mfg.  sears homelite MONSTER with HUGE chute able to throw the snow 50 feet or so.  It only has a 21" width, but pretty tall chute and pretty loud, enough to wake the neighborhood.  Nothing fancy only 1 forward, 1 reverse gear, but that is all that I need.  Besides that gas sitting in it has been in there all summer long since last winter time to burn it up.

I have one similar. Direct drive with no safeties. Goes thru whatever gets into the chute.
