Upper 70's today, clear blue skies, gorgeous weather, and I didn't touch my Valk or the ST1300...

Instead I put my 4.5 year old triplets in the car, called my parents up (And yes, I realize how lucky I am to still be able to do that) and convinced them to go day camping with us.

I realized a while back my triplets had never been to our 18 acres of land just south of Dallas, they'd never gone "camping", never had hot dogs roasted over a camp fire, and decided to fix that...

So, I didn't ride today.

But today was an awesome day just the same...

Me and 2/3 of them sitting on the loft in the cabin:

(The cabin was already painted those colors before I bought the place!)

Just can't fake the flavor of a hot dog cooked over a camp fire!

Here comes trouble up the stairs to the loft!

Shovels and Rakes and Implements of destruction!

Blake is all smiles...

Exploring the old livestock barn on the property...

Brian Jr, Blake and Kaelynn striking a pose...

Spring must be near!

Brian Jr. approves of this s'mores thing...

As does Kaelynn

Blake too, although he was a bit more nonchalant about it...

Anyway... not really sure what the point of this thread was, guess it counts as a "Watch them grow" update, haven't done one of those in quite some time, but thanks for following along!

Oh, and related, found a bunch of these feathers out on my land, anyone have any idea what kind of bird they could have come from?

Relish these days as they pass way too quick. The best days were spent camping with my 3 girls (twins) on the water. Teaching them to waterski/snowski. I envy your weekend. May you have many more.

Thanks for sharing.   cooldude

We still have a white winter wonderland up here.  Thawing temps, but it's going to take a long time to melt all this crap.

Nice photos, nice looking family, and what a great way to spend a Sunday. Thanks for sharing. Yes, time flies, so every day spent with your kids is a good day. I just got back this evening from up in Northern BC where I spent 3 days with my eldest daughter (29) and son in law hanging out and ice fishing. Still my "little girl", thanks to all that time we spent together in the early years  Smiley

Thanks for  sharing with us,

Great post. Being a Dad is the most important thing a man will get to do in life. Looks like you're doing it well!

Tried to re-create that pic a few months back, couldn't get 'em to hold still long enough...

But yeah, from this:

To this, in a blink of an eye... And it doesn't show any signs of slowing down either...

Great looking time with the youngsters. As said, treasure the times with them whenever possible. And as a guess, your feathers probably come from a Wood Stork.

Looks like 'the dude' shirt youngster is going to be a handful come his teenage years while the girl will be needing daddy's shotgun protection come around that same time in the dating years.

As said,  ENJOY these younger years as I did 10+ years ago since they go by WAY, WAY too fast.  Now into their high school years,  they want to avoid us old fart parents except when they need money of course.  I wish shotgun scaring was legal where I live since twice I would have liked to have fired a few warning shots at a few young guys with my daughter as well between ages 15-17.  ONE for sure I would've been in jail if my wife did not stop me from going to his parents home and setting him straight.  Too bad am sure he can outrun me long distance.

Their big sister (Who's now 13, and was also a "VRCC Baby" (See here for THAT story - http://www.valkyrieriders.com/silly.htm )) takes care of that for me... She'll be more highly protective of her baby sister than even daddy ever could be, and so far *knock on wood* has shown excellent respect for herself as well... (I know, it's still early)
