   Got bout 105 miles into today and the ONLY thing-well NOT bad but adding some excitement-had really NASTY cross winds down to Arkansas and back. Just went to Mammoth Spring to get a ride in cuz I could. According to what I read there-Mammoth Spring-9000000 gallons an HOUR go over the dam. That's 150000 gallons a minute or 250 gallons a second. I know when you take the walkway across it are NOISY. At one time after the Civil War they ground grain there and in I believe 1922 a power company bought the dam and generated electricity there til 1972. The generator and the power house are still there but just as a static display. If yer ever in that area stop in and stretch your legs and see the power station and a old Civil war cannon they have there. Pretty interesting area I live in and around just NEED to take more time to explore!  Really NOT tryin t piss off anyone sufferin from P M S THAT'S WHY I warned ya!  RIDE SAFE.
