Wow, reality will eventually settle in and he will understand that amputation by a previous owner will not justify an unreasonble price

There must be another Valk behind the one in the picture since he's got a price for two.

I'd be happy if I can get 7K, pushing 7.5K top end, for my 2001 black I/S with 32K on it. I doubt I would let it go for much less though than 7K though, might as well keep it since not much out there below 7K I'd consider purchasing to replace it apples to apples.
Anyone thinking they can get much more than that 8 to 8.5K mark best be either lucky or have that I/S decked out to the max.

Well, he has to start somewhere, better high than too low. I guess anything is worth what somebody will pay.
Maybe this will set the trend, I've been thinking for quite some time that these monsters will become collectable resulting in decent resale prices.

I only see Cobra passenger boards as the only option.
Things aren't as impossible as they seem. I got $12754 for mine last June(1999 I/S with 83k miles)...but that was my insurance settlement for my totaled bike. Have pics of the checks to prove it.

Jeepers. Around here in the midwest I have seen Interstates listed in the 4 grand range to 8 grand. Average being about 6k and I am not sure what sellers are getting.

I thought you guys might get a kick from this add on Ebay in 2009.
1997 Honda Valkyrie 1997 HONDA VALKYRIE- 1606 ACTUAL MILES Ended: Aug 14, 2009 07:28:49 PDT Price: US $18,500.00 Item Location: Dalton, Georgia, United States Shipping: Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Vehicle shipping quote is available. Payment: Full payment required within 7 days of auction close.
This auction closed without 1 bid.
So the owner repeated it with $13,500. Still no bids. And then with $12,500. Still no bids.
The following message was then sent.
Dear xxx,
You either want to sell this MC or not. If not ignore this message.
If so, respond with a reasonable price. Note that a NEW 2003 with 500 miles can be bought on Ebay today for $9995.
I am 40 miles away and have the cash, and can be there almost anytime.
Thanks zzz
The owner then responded with a reasonable price and the bike was sold.
You never know but sometimes it just pays to follow up or make an offer.

I must have missed the part about gold plating and diamond studs.
