I thought it was a great game, defense is tough and Denver's was the best.   Both defenses were very good but, Denver knocked Newton down 7 times.    That was pretty darn exciting for me.

Apparently, humble pie is not one of Cam Newton's favorite dishes.

Looked to me like Cam wasnt ready for primetime. Or maybe just not up to the pressure that Miller and Ware were able to bring. As for his attitude, what did you expect from the ring leader of the "I'm entitled" generation. Just a side note, did you see his hesitation at sticking his nose into the scrum after he had fumbled? Kinda exposed his true character there, in my opinion.

First game I'd seen all year. I didn't even know who was innit till last Thursday.
Read, I'm not a sporto type.
I did think it was a good game, with no qualification to justify my opinion.
The little temper tantrums were hilarious.
Millionaires acting all childish over a game. Hey loser, they just out did you.
You still get a ring and a bonus.
Not only that, but look how many poor third world kids will get a new T-shirt.
They have no clue who the Panthers are and a Superbowl would have some meat with the rice.

yah,  Cam's post game press conference was not a great showing for the reigning MVP of the NFL ENTIRE league - way to represent the league - NOT!!!

He should be pissed, the offensive line did not protect much at all and he was too much of a wimp to NOT go after the ball when he obviously had a very good chance to get the fumble and give the panthers a chance to win the game then being only 17-10 vs. 24-10.

He should be upset,  although not one of us can know how we would act if we were in his shoes playing so poorly in the biggest hyped up game on earth.  The day we lost my sectional football final high school game knowing full well it would be my last knowing full well we should have won easily (had 2 key interceptions and a few fumbles in scoring position out yardaging the other team like 300+ yards to only 100 yards)  made me cry like a little baby walking off the field for the last time and we should have went and played for the Division III title game in the big dance!

I was in Denver during the game and during the rally and have confirmed that most were indeed stoned, and the only disturbances were at the local Taco Bells when the drive through lines got backed up.  2funny

On a serious note. Legalizing Pot was THE WORST THING COLORADO EVER DID! You won't read in the papers about how it's tore apart families, caused heroin to infect the state, k-12 schools are all rampant with pot (yes elementary too!), police can do nothing about driving under the influence. Children O.D'ing on eatables. I could go on and on. Oh, but the tax revenue you say, that is a good thing right? Schools have not seen one red cent. The more money you give a government the more corrupt it becomes. If your state puts legalizing weed on the ballot vote against it! Don't worry, Willy won't mind.

How has legal marijuana "caused heroin to infect the state" ?

The cost of "legal week" is more expensive that when it was illegal. Also legalizing marijuana cut into the drug cartels revenue, so they needed something else to sell. They are bringing in a low grade heroin which at just $30 a hit will last 12-14 hours. A hit of weed will cost $50+ and only last 3-4 hours. A very nasty repercussion of legalizing marijuana.

Well, I'm not a big fan of the recreational legalization in Colorado.  That said, for better or worse, there is a local dispensary with a half page newspaper advertisement selling 1/8 oz. of weed for $21 tax included.  About the price a liquor store charges for a bottle of Jack, and probably as many "hits" in the 8th as shots in the bottle.

Considering the high amount of inflation since the 1970's, and the MASSIVE increases of THC percentages, I'm betting the price per unit of THC hasn't gone up from then, might have even gone down really...
